Expertise and Commitment to Windows:

Xiotech provides best-in-class storage for the Windows platform, offering solutions for Windows server- and application-based environments that are both simple and dynamic. This presents a real alternative to traditional vendors who offer powerful but complex storage solutions for Windows.

Xiotech participates in the "Designed for Windows" program. This storage OEM program is coordinated with the Windows Hardware Qualification Lab (WHQL) to test hardware solutions.

Storage and Platform Solutions Division Relationship

Xiotech works directly with the Windows Server Division on key data storage initiatives and has developed and delivered providers based on Microsoft's Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS), Virtual Disk Service (VDS), and Multipath I/O (MPIO) to ensure the high availability of mission-critical data. Both Xiotech and Microsoft are committed to reducing total cost of ownership and increasing operational efficiency.

Microsoft Technology Centers

Xiotech is also a Premier Alliance Member at the Microsoft Technology Centers (MTC) located in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Reston and Silicon Valley. Xiotech has provided Magnitude storage solutions to each MTC location for use in architectural design sessions and proof-of-concept testing. The ease of use of our storage solutions provides faster environment deployment times and an enriched storage management experience.

Microsoft Service Labs

Xiotech is a partner with the Microsoft Service Labs located in Charlotte, Las Colinas (Dallas), and Issaquah (Seattle). Magnitude 3D storage solutions are installed at each location to assist Lab staff when working with Premier Support customers on projects and support-related service issues affecting their data centers.

Microsoft District Offices/Briefing Centers

Magnitude storage solutions are used extensively for demonstration purposes at Microsoft sales offices across the United States. These locations include: Washington, DC; St. Louis; and Houston. In addition, Magnitude 3D is featured storage in the New York City Briefing Center.
